Pine Isle Residence

The Crane is a speculative home designed by Moment Architects in collaboration with Tipler, a luxury home builder located in The Woodlands, Texas. The Crane is a four bedroom, four and a half bathroom modern farmhouse design that boasts an open living room, dining room, and kitchen with vaulted ceilings, a wrap-around front porch, covered back patio, spacious primary suite, study, game room, and three-car garage. The home was designed with two unique exterior material palettes to be built on two specific corner lots within the exclusive Pine Island subdivision of Woodforest.

Hill Country Ranch

The Hill Country Ranch is a custom home in southeast Texas, designed in collaboration with Tipler. The clients’ vision for the home is to create an environment reminiscent of a Tuscan vineyard, with materials and craftsmanship that harken back to the days when a craftsman was an artist.

The home includes ample outdoor living space and views across the rolling hillsides. Each room is unique, with features such as rustic wood beams, painted shiplap, leather coffered ceilings, and solid stone interior walls making the home and every space in it tailored to the homeowners’ taste.

St. Ann's Court

St. Ann’s Court is a two story single family home in Conroe, TX located on a canal in the gated community of The French Quarter. The four bedroom home features a primary suite and one of the secondary bedrooms on the first floor with the remaining bedrooms on the second floor. The second floor also includes a large bonus room with a spacious covered balcony. Spacious living space and kitchen have a direct access to a covered outdoor kitchen/patio. The home has been designed to provide optimal views to Lake Conroe from the first floor living space, the primary suite, and the second floor covered balcony. This speculative home is currently for sale, with the availability to customize the fixtures and finishes. Bridgestone Crossing

Bridgestone Crossing is a residential townhouse development located in Spring, Texas, developed by FIG (Fourplex Investment Group). This project consists of 200 total living units, divided across 22 individual buildings consisting of 4-unit, 6-unit, 8-unit, and 12-unit building types. Moment Architects collaborated with LSquared Engineering and Dudley-Dunham Engineering for civil and structural engineering, respectively. Esperanza Apartments

The Esperanza Apartments are located on the corner of Fry Road and Keith Harrow Blvd in Houston, Texas. The project consists of twenty-five garden-style apartments, a leasing office, outdoor green space, and two splash pad areas.

Argo Road Fourplexes

The Argo Fourplexes are a development in Conroe, TX consisting of fifteen fourplexes and a leasing office. Each fourplex is a two story building with four dwelling units where the first floor units are handicapped accessible. The development also features a green space where residents can gather for outdoor activities, a swimming pool, and a trail around a detention pond allowing for an active and healthy life style. Lazy Springs

The Lazy Springs Remodel was an exciting opportunity to take an old, cramped, and dilapidated house in Lazy Springs, and transform it into a spacious, comfortable, and inviting home. This was a Design/Build collaboration between Moment Architects and Luminous Homes. The scope included removing two load-bearing walls that were previously separating the kitchen, living room, and dining room, and installing flush beams in the ceiling to create a seamless open floor plan providing increased natural light and better flow through the house. We also demolished the existing single bathroom, and built two new bathrooms in it’s place; one serving the master suite and another serving the secondary bedrooms. We replaced all the existing single-pane windows with new energy-efficient double-pane windows, replaced the existing termite-infested wood floors with all new Rigid Core flooring in the living areas, Porcelain tile in the bathrooms, and plush carpet in the bedrooms. We gutted the original kitchen and added a new island, new modern cabinetry, new appliances, and beautiful quartz counter tops. We installed all new Kohler plumbing fixtures throughout the house, as well as all new LED lighting. We also completely replaced the existing HVAC system, ran all new PEX plumbing, completely rewired the house to meet current electrical codes, and installed a new tankless gas water heater. The exterior and interior both received new coats of paint, and we salvaged the natural cedar wainscot in the dining room and painted it a clean, crisp white. There was an existing guest house behind the main house that originally included two bedrooms, a bathroom, a tight and oddly shaped living room, and a laundry room. We gutted the guest house and converted it into a Mother-In-Law Suite, complete with a master bedroom, master bathroom, master closet, laundry room, kitchenette, breakfast area, and living room. Allmaras Residence

Allmaras Residence is located in Cleveland, Texas, a forever home on a 5 acre lot for the Allmaras family. The exterior is a modified A frame structure with plenty of glazing to create indoor outdoor living. The A-frame roof extends out in the front to create a dramatic, yet welcoming entry into the house. The common living spaces have an open concept allowing for interaction between the spaces on the first floor, as well as with the loft on the second floor. The loft is intended to be a homeschool room for the Allmaras family, which also has an access to the attic loft space to be used as a prayer room. There are two bedrooms on the first floor; the primary bedroom is located on the second floor along with the fourth bedroom. The primary bedroom has a private balcony that looks out to the beautiful woods on the land.
