Communication
Designing a custom home is a process that requires an immense amount of coordination between the architect, the homeowner, the general contractor, the interior designer, and the engineers. Communication is key to creating a seamless process. While other architects take weeks to return a phone call or reply to an email, we pride ourselves not only on our responsiveness, but also on our proactiveness. Our goal is for our homeowners to never have to ask us where we are in the process or what the next steps are, because we make it a priority to keep you informed and up to date every step of the way.
Construction Savvy
Our owner and Principal Architect, Matthew Giardina, has over nine year’s of experience building high end custom homes. Three of those years were spent working for a design/build firm located in the Rice Village area of Houston, and six years were spent owning and operating a home building company. In 2023 Matthew decided to shift his focus away from construction and spend his time exclusively on design instead, but the lessons he learned throughout his time as a builder directly impact the quality of architecture our team produces. Unlike architects who spend all their time drafting and never get to see how the things they’re drawing are actually built, we use the construction knowledge we have to inform the design decisions we make, resulting in greater constructability, increased building performance, and reduced construction costs.
