Matt is a Partner and Managing Principal at Moment Architects, leading the firm’s residential practice while overseeing operations including accounting, marketing, business development, human resources, and strategic planning. He combines hands-on project leadership with firmwide management to support design excellence, smooth project delivery, and long-term growth.
His work is shaped by extensive experience designing and building a wide range of project types under respected Houston architects, along with six years owning and operating a residential real estate development and construction company, bringing a practical, detail-oriented perspective to every project, from early design decisions through construction.
Personal
Matt is a Houston native who relocated to The Woodlands in 2012. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design and later earned an MBA from the University of Houston C.T. Bauer College of Business, with certificates in Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Outside of work, he spends time with his wife and five children, enjoys reading and early mornings at the gym, and welcomes conversations about the Christian faith.
