INTERN
Responsibilities:
Develops design or technical solutions under the supervision of an architect
Collaborate on projects through all phases of Architectural Services
Research, understand, and integrate applicable building codes and accessibility requirements
Assist in creating graphics and presentations for client meetings
Prepare construction documents and details in conjunction with team members
Assist in construction administration, site visits, and field reports
Perform field-measurements of existing homes and commercial spaces
Accurately draw as-built spaces in computer software
Independently solves problems encountered
Reports to Project Manager
Qualifications
Completion of or active enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture is required.
Prior experience working in an architecture firm is preferred, but not required.
Experience in Autodesk Revit software is required.
Experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator software is required.
Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD software is preferred, but not required.
Experience preparing construction documents is preferred, but not required.
Strong work ethic.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
Active path to licensure is preferred.

DESIGNER
ARCHITECT LEVEL ii
Responsibilities:
Lead multiple projects simultaneously from design development through construction
Lead junior level staff in preparation of construction documents and details
Work with clients to produce project programs
Prepare presentations and present to clients
Prepare construction documents for assigned projects in conjunction with team members
Manage, coordinate, and communicate with all project consultants
Coordinate weekly project updates with the Principal Architects
Participate in weekly team meetings and lead portions of meeting related to assigned projects.
Assist in construction administration
Determine Scopes of Work and prepare proposals/contracts
Act as primary client liaison for assigned projects
Coordinate with AHJ to prepare, submit, and respond to permit-related issues
Conduct and oversee the code research process during preliminary design
Prepare project schedules
Manage client budgets as they relate to construction expenses in design and detailing
Mentor and coach junior level staff
Reports to Managing Principal
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture is required.
License to practice Architecture in the State of Texas is preferred, but not required.
Unlicensed candidates must be on active path towards licensure.
Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in an architecture firm.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit software is required.
Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD software is preferred, but not required.
Experience preparing construction documents is required.
Experience in Project Management is required.
Strong work ethic.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
